What Kind Of Warranty Do You Give For Your Painting Work?

Surepaint offers our clients a standard 2 year warranty on all completed painting works whether it be interior or exterior. We do have some exceptions when it comes to roofs, handrails and floors which we only cover for a 1 year period. Its important to understand the paints that are applied by our painters also has a warranty system.

How Long Is A Surepaint Quote Valid For?

All Surepaint quotations are valid for 6 months for date of issue. If you would like to accept an out of date quote, we would need to revisit to requote your project.

For all Body Corporate and Commercial painting quotes, these are valid for a full 12 months from date of issue.

If Im Installing New Carpet, Should I Do It Before Or After Painting?

We also recommend new carpet to be installed after painting works are finished. If you are planning on installing new carpet be sure to advise our estimators as there will be a discount applied.

Does Surepaint Quote From Plans?

At this point in time, we do not quote from plans as we primarly focus on the residental & commercial repainting of exisiting buildings. Currently we do not undertake work for builders

All Surepaint projects are conducted using Dulux premium paints. We give our clients the ability within our quotations to upgrade to dulux ultra premium from the standard premium professional painting range.

We firmly believe in using high quality materials from primers to top coats in order to provide our customers with a longer lasting finish and a better return on their painting investment.

Typically How Long Will It Take To Start My Painting Project?

After accepting one of Surepaints online quotes, there is a couple of extra steps needed in order to arrange our painters to start painting.

These steps include contract completion, deposit payment and colour selection. This generally takes between 3 – 7 days to complete. Our average start time onsite is between 2 – 4 weeks from acceptance of quotation.

What Do I Do With My Furniture?

We ask all our customers to remove small items from benchtops, tables etc. All larger furniture is required to be moved at least 900mm from the walls so as our painters can access walls and ceilings. All furniture will be covered by drop clothes or plastic.

For exterior painting we require our clients to move all potted plants and furniture from the work space as height access equipment may be used.

Im Having Problems Choosing Colours, Can Surepaint Help?

Short awnser yes! Surepaint offers our clients a colour design service which uses accredited colour designers to help you choose the best colours for your painting project. Our colour designers educate you and guide you through the arduous task of choosing a colour scheme.

How Does Surepaint Control Quality Standards?

At Surepaint quality control is conducted through a series of onsite visits. Quality control all starts with a great foundation and this is done through our pre production meeting. This meeting introduces you to our formen and ensures all your projects paper work is current and correct. Once this is ticked off our painters can begin the painting process.

When our painters are half done we will conduct a half way meeting where our project manager will inspect all works to date and ensure the project is running smoothly and gives us the ability to make adjustments if required. This is a great time for you as our customer to bring to our attention any issues or things missed to date.

Once our painters have gotten your project 95% complete we undertake a defect meeting where our project manager will inspect the works and create a defect list for recification. Our painters will return and complete the noted defects so as we can formally hand over your completed project.

Surepaint people are amazing and love the way they work so well. I had called them for driveway resealing. The cleaned the driveway using a leaf blower and repaired the path before applying the sealer. There were 2-3 people working on the driveway and knew each task really well.
